Associated condition Of Myasthenia gravis

Myasthenia gravis is associated with various autoimmune diseases, including:
  1. Thyroid diseases, including Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Graves' disease
  2. Diabetes mellitus type 1
  3. Rheumatoid arthritis
  4. Lupus, and
  5. Demyelinating CNS diseases
  6. Seropositive and "double-seronegative" patients often have thymoma or thymic hyperplasia. However, anti-MuSK positive patients do not have evidence of thymus pathology.
